(Note: The free WiFi we're stealing shut us off last night, to the Sunday posting's late. Sorry.)
Today we saw a thrilling, bottom-of-the-ninth victory by the A's over the Giants. XXXX was pitching, and XXXX drove in the winning run, scoring XXXXX. That's kinda how it is in the ninth inning of a spring training game.

The day started out with a healthy, balanced meal of plastic grapes.

We all settled into our seats and messed around with our respective new cameras.

We saw the hot photographer again this year. But now that I have a better camera, I can stalk her better.

Mmmmmm, hot photographer....

Dawn was very amused by Steve's antics.

And then there was more baseball, played by guys you never heard of, yadda yadda yadda.
We ended up at Hooters in Tempe after the game. The Hooters waitress was horrible. Totally not living up to the fine Hooters name. Completely inattentive, and then the chicken wings took forever to arrive. (Even after a visit by the non-breasted MALE supervisor or whatever he was.) Then Brandye tried to order a margarita, and she was all, "our margaritas are really weak and most people return them." So that saved an extra $7.50. And she didn't even have the, um, "assets" to make up for her laissez-faire attitude. Quote from Brandye: "That bitch better come back with my wings or I'm outta here." Then we waited and waited and waited, and the music was crappy and too loud, and one side of the veranda was closed off, and the TV was set to "Meet the Press" (seriously), so we finished our wings and got out of there.
Then we got home, made daquiris, hopped in the pool and hot tub, and I took a nap, only to be awakened by Dawn talking about hocking up bloody chunks. Mmmmmmmm.
Now we're watching "The Natural" on our life-sized TV. I sure hope he hits a home run at the end! Burgers are up, as are a new batch of margaritas. Gotta go.
Today's high: 87.
10:44 pm update: There is talk of bleaching one's anus, and waxing anal hair. I'm not sure why.

OK, just the fact that ya'll are off work, drinking and in the sun has me totally jealous.
It's summer-like weather back here too and I REALLY don't want to go to work ... again ...
OR EVER.
Anus bleaching? Maybe it's a good thing that I couldn't make it to spring training this year ...
