Looks like Barry Zito will be starting Saturday, so Dawn should be happy. Sadly, that means we'll miss Russ Ortiz. But it also puts us on schedule, I believe, to see Tim Lincecum on Monday. So Ron and I will be happy guys.

* Malee's on Main, a terrific Thai restaurant on Main Street in Scottsdale. Try the crispy basil chicken.* Frasher's steak house on Scottsdale Road. Excellent St. Louis style barbecue ribs.
* Franco's. An Italian trattoria on Camelback Road, near 24th Street, in Phoenix.
* Carlsbad Tavern. Spicy New Mexican cuisine at the corner of Osborn and Hayden roads in Scottsdale, with a nice patio.
* Richardson's: Another good New Mexican place, in Phoenix on Bethany Home road near 16th St.
* Z Tejas. Southwestern cuisine inside the Scottsdale Fashion mall and on 6th St. in Tempe.
